v a r i o u s  n o t e s ;
① 「The Automail」 Ed keeps his automail covered most of the time. Unless I specify otherwise (or he's in a situation where it obviously would be exposed, ie. taking a bath) just assume both his arm and leg are covered and he's wearing gloves.
② 「The Height Complex」 It's not that big (pun so not intended). Besides the fact Ed actually grows a very noticeable (but not commented on) amount in the latter portion of the manga, his infamous 'short rants' decrease sharply as the OH SHIT factor of the manga's plot increases. I actually headcanon Ed to stand about 168 cm (5'6"), based on Winry being of average height for a 15-16 yr old girl (163cm/5'4").
